Matt and I spent our first mini-vacation away from our little one just a 4-hour drive from home in the beach resort town of Mũi Né. It's a charming coastal fishing area along the East Sea in the Bình Thuận Province in southeast Vietnam. A long holiday weekend was the perfect excuse to enjoy the sunshine and grown-up only time as we joined two other couples to help celebrate our friend's fortieth birthday! We arrived around mid-day and found a Jamaican-inspired beach bar for lunch complete with some pop-reggae tunes and refreshing drinks. After checking into our hotel, we met up with our friends before sneaking off to the Botanica Spa for some massage therapy. The remainder of our time was spent at the beach, eating, napping, and drinking...on repeat. This is how we do adulting!
